CASS and BASS are seeking a Prep Cook who will be preparing and cooking menu items for staff and visitors. Duties to include but not limited to:
Responsible for preparation of food while on duty and with advance preparation of food for next shift as needed.
Prepares ingredients for menu items and cooks food according to recipes.
Assists in inventory of food and beverage as directed.
Occasionally manages point of sale system, including swiping ID cards, collecting money from customers.
Occasionally responsible for washing dishes and pots.
Demonstrates compliance with rules and regulations pertaining to the Maine State Liquor Laws.
Demonstrates compliance with safety and sanitation regulations.
This full-time, 38 week per year position will go permanent once probationary period is met. Flexible, rotating schedule that will include daytime, evening, night, and weekend shifts as well as extended hours as needed. Summers off!
Pay $12 an hour
High School diploma required and one (1) or more years of related experience and/or training.
Must be of legal age to sell/monitor sale of alcoholic beverages. Proficient in the use of cash management and/or point of sale systems. A valid driver's license with a good driving record is required.
Serve-Safe Certification must be obtained within six months of hire.
