Description
BASS is seeking a skilled Hardscape/Landscape Technician for our client based out of Holden. This position's schedule is typically Monday-Friday starting at 6:30am. Pay based on experience, $20-30 per hour.
Qualifications and Duties:
-Good working knowledge of Hardscapes, Landscapes, and equipment.
-Experience installing hardscapes/landscapes at residential and commercial properties: patios, walkways, fences, steps, retaining walls, drainage, etc.
-Execute proper landscaping techniques and utilize equipment, power tools, small machinery, and hand tools to carry out full-service installations and proper handling of all materials.
-Willingness to learn proper techniques and safe operation of hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
-Will routinely load/unload vehicles (including tractors onto trailers) and safely transport equipment and materials to the job site.
-Keep vehicles, machinery, and tools in good repair and working order.
-If candidates have snow plow/removal experience, there is the possibility for that work during the offseason.
Requirements
-Individuals must be physically capable of properly lifting heavy materials on a regular basis.
-Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and excellent driving record to operate company vehicles.
-Good communication skills.
-Have strong attention to detail and be able to work with a team or independently.
-Be able to work well following instructions.
