Building / Renovation Estimator & Project Manager in Hampden, ME
Description
Bangor Area Staffing is recruiting for an Estimator/Building Project Manager for our client, a locally owned restoration business. Applicants must have estimating experience in the building and/or carpentry fields. You will be in charge of estimating and managing property repair jobs.

This Direct Hire opening is an excellent career opportunity! The typical schedule is Monday thru Friday 7am-4pm, while being part of the team alternating the on-call schedule of nights and weekends for emergency projects. Excellent yearly salary of $41,500-$52,000, based on experience. Our client also offers health insurance.

Qualified candidates must be able to:
• Prepare accurate job estimates and negotiate with potential clients.
• Meet company sales goals by building trust with clients and actively marketing for new leads.
• Build relationships to work closely with insurance companies and adjusters.
• Lead your project team to ensure work is completed on time and under budget.
• Accurately and promptly prepare and file documentation, including work-in-progress calculations and job cost reporting.
• Work well in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience.
Requirements
• An in-depth knowledge of the commercial/residential construction industry. Knowledge of restoration processes/procedures a plus.
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with estimating software. Xactimate experience is preferred.
• Excellent math and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Great organizational skills.

Must have a valid Driver’s License and good driving record.
Must meet background check requirements.
HS Diploma or equivalent required.

Home Repair Coordinator in Belfast, ME 04915
Description
Great chance to make a difference in your local community! BASS is seeking candidates for a Home Repair Coordinator for our non-profit client in Belfast, ME. In this role you will act as the primary field representative and technician to clients and contractors for Home Repair Services, including but not limited to Central Heating Improvement Program (CHIP), Above Ground Storage Tank (AST) Program, and Home Repair Program.

Some duties you will perform include:

-Perform assessments to check for eligibility for programs, and set up projects for those who are eligible.
-Coordinate with contractors to perform and provide these services.
-Document and aid in resolving client concerns.
-Assess new program guidelines and requirements, and assist in developing and implementing procedures for new and existing programs.
Requirements
You will bring the following skills, experience, and education:

-At least three (3) years of experience in housing or a related field.
-Skilled in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
-Experience in residential construction management, including basic knowledge of building codes, project cost control, and record keeping preferred.
-Strong communication and problem resolution skills.
-High School Diploma or equivalent
-Ability to meet background clearance requirements.

Property Maintenance Position in Bangor, ME 04401
Description
Seeking full-time, Monday through Friday, 8-5 Maintenance person to assist in the maintaining apartments, offices, and grounds of our client's properties.

Candidates need to have general property maintenance knowledge/experience such as: Basic plumbing (fix leaks, drains, etc.), painting, patching, basic carpentry (fix door, cabinet, replace trim, etc.)

Some of duties to include: General repairs, painting, hauling debris/trash, grounds keeping to include snow shoveling walks, and prepare apartments, etc. for new tenants.

Pay: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour, depending on experience
Requirements
Candidates must have general property maintenance experience, reliable vehicle, basic tools (hammer, measuring tape, screw driver, etc.), Meet background requirements. Must have a valid Driver's License. Must meet physical requirements of such a position, lifting up to 60 lbs, bend, reach, stand, crouch, and grasp.
