A/R Billing Clerk in Holden, ME 04429
Description
BASS is seeking an A/R Billing Clerk for our client, a chiropractic office. Some of the main tasks you will be doing: billing, perform month-end processing, reconcile all insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner, verify patients insurance information, work receivables-collections, receive and post payments, and handling patient questions regarding their accounts. May assist reception when needed.

This is a 37 hour a week, Contract to Permanent position.
Must be available to work shift till 6:30 pm Mon, Tues, & Thur.
Early out by 1:30 pm Wed & Friday.
Requirements
Experience in billing/accounts receivables.
Medical billing experience a plus.
Must have good computer skills, accurate data entry skills, and a high attention to detail.
Minimum HS Diploma or equivalent.

Description
CASS is seeking a friendly and experienced Medical Insurance Specialist for our Client's Contract to Hire opportunity! This position also occasionally assists with covering the front desk and other administrative/clerical tasks. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm 2 days, and 9:00 am to 7:00 pm the other two days.

Duties include:

- Insurance billing (no coding)
- Patient billing
- Posting insurance checks
- Following up on EOB forms
- Calling to verify insurance coverage
- Calling doctor’s offices to schedule follow-up appointments
- Requesting medical records from other offices
- Filling in for front desk (meet and greet, scheduling appointments, phones, etc.)
