Certified Dental Assistant in Bangor, ME 04401
BASS is recruiting for a Certified Dental Assistant with a valid X-Ray License for our Bangor client. This long term temporary position is expected to last approximately 6-8 months. You must possess an upbeat, positive attitude and will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures with a calm and caring demeanor towards all patients.

Other duties will include explaining medical needs and details regarding procedures and after care to patients, sterilizing instruments, and participating in general office wide cleaning and disinfection. Candidates will also follow OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.

The schedule is typically 4 days per week, Tuesday-Friday, but may require some Mondays as well. M+F are 8:30am-3:30pm, and T-Th are 7:00am-4:00pm.
The pay is $15-16/hour. Our client may consider higher for an experienced candidate.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of a team to ensure practice goals are being met. The right applicant will have a high attention to detail, problem solving skills and respect for patients and co-workers. A strong work ethic is required.

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Must be a Certified Dental Assistant with the Maine State Dental Board and have a valid X-Ray License.

Medical Front Desk in Augusta, ME
Contract to Hire! Monday through Friday, shifts scheduled between 7:00 am to 7:00 pm; no weekends. Duties will vary and include:

Answer phones and meet & greet patients
Electronic medical records
Electronic insurance billing
Sanitizing patient rooms
Escorting patients to their room
Other clerical tasks as assigned

Medical knowledge/background is needed, will train in billing procedures; friendly and professional personality, as well as the ability to be successful in a fast-paced environment is a must.
Two good employment references; Mature work ethic; Comparable experience; HS Diploma or equivalent
