Position coordinates with loan servicing agents, administration & accounting staff and mortgage insurers to ensure that expenses are filed and paid in accordance to guidelines and that expenses are booked and cleared from accounts in a timely and accurate manner.
Process monthly invoice of advances associated with escrow related disbursements.
Determine monthly accrual required for advances disbursed for fees and costs
Process monthly invoice for payment of interest on advances
Monitor sub-servicer escrow account administration for compliance with federal regulations
Perform monthly reconciliation of all expenses paid on loan portfolio
Oversee the filings of mortgage insurance claims for defaulted loans
Process Servicer Expense Reimbursement requests
Review and analyze financial information
Other tasks as assigned
Working knowledge of MS Office required, as well as excellent analytical, mathematical, and written/oral communication skills. Experience with mortgage loan documentation and loan servicing strongly preferred.
