Billing Associate in Waterville, ME
Description
20-30 hours/week, Contract to Hire! Position is responsible for timely and accurate processing of billing and follow-up/collections on past-due balances, as well as research and resolution of discrepancies.

Knowledge of Maine Childcare Subsidy Program is a definite asset; working knowledge of MS Office and at least 2 yrs. of customer services exp. is needed.

-Perform collections and billing prior to program start dates
-Set-up and process third-party billing, as well as private pay invoices
-Research and respond to billing and invoicing inquiries
-Create/maintain physical and electronic filing system
-Collaborate with internal departments on revenue coding, tracking and other relevant
matters
-Communicate and educate members regarding resources and funding opportunities,
including workshops, on-site visits and in-person consultations
-Other tasks as assigned
